Founded by Luis Alcala in 1972, Alcala's Western Wear lassos more boot sales than anyone else in Chicago and has become one of the largest retailers of Western wear in the Midwest. We offer the largest selection of quality western boots and clothing with authentic as well as cutting-edge style. When I first met my husband, he told me about Alcala's and how it is his favorite western store while he lived in Chicago. When we made plans to visit Round Lake Beach for a wedding, this place was our #1 place to visit. The staff is super friendly! The gentleman who cleans and shapes the hats was out on vacation - we don't blame him at all because we were on vacation as well! But the lady who helped my husband pick out his Tejanas was helpful and super sweet. She even cleaned our new hats. Love mine! And we all know my husband loves his!! Definitely recommend this store! The parking was extremely helpful.

An absolute Chicago gem! Service was top notch. Tried on quite a few pairs of pants and the staff was patient and helpful. Free alteration (pant hem) performed within 10 minutes while I waited. Will definitely return.
